This course is for athletes and performance artists at all levels who want to develop their mental skills to improve their performance; in this e-course you will learn different mental techniques to develop and strengthen the mental aspects of your performance.
We divide mental training into five basic techniques; inner dialogue / self-talk, goal-setting, visualization, arousal regulation and refocusing / attention control. These techniques you can use for instance to strengthen your self-efficacy, your motivation, your ability to refocus or to pay attention, or how to control you arousal level.
Henrik H. Jahren is a registered psychologist in Australia and Norway. Henrik is an Australian trained clinical psychologist with 10+ years experience in the development and delivery of psychological services across clinical, sport and organizational psychology.
Henrik, and the rest of the #tankeboksen team, develop courses on how to better manage common mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.
In addition to Tankeboksen AS, Henrik has a private clinic in Oslo, Norway and also work as a sport psychologist as part of the Olympiatoppen, an organization that is part of Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports with responsibility for training Norwegian elite sports.
